bought different region DLC

So I have the Witcher 3 game both DLC are banned in my region so I went ahead and bought the season pass from the US store. After downloading them they are stuck on "waiting to install" a Google search showed that this happens if the DLC region doesn't match the disk's. So basically with all this regions bul**bleep** you are telling me I can't play the games expansions. At least I want a refund on the season pass I bought and downloaded for nothing....
