PSN Store for PS3

I have the PS3 and PS4. Haven't played my PS3 in a while so I decided to check it out and since its been a while I knew there would be an update. After all updated I noticed something strange. The controls were all on the Fritz so it would move everywhere on the home screen so I had to connect my ps4 controller to actually control the movement with no problems. This I was fine with but my main problem was I can't access the Store. I click the Play Station Store to check out some games and I find myself staring at a blue screen and nothing I turned it off multiple times and same result. For the past few weeks it would not work. Blue screen is all I see this whole time and some have suggested it was the new update.

Does anyone happen to know what it could be? It can't be my internet connection cause if my internet connection isn't working then I couldn't login to my account the moment I turn my PS3 on and I did a connection test and all passed.
