NAT Type difference between ps4 and games

I am stuck in an odd situation, since my i got my PS3 back in the day i assigned it a static ip within my local network and added it to the DMZ list of my router and got NAT type 1 which was perfect. But then i went and bought a PS4 and with the same settings i now have NAT type 2, which isn't the odd part.... so far all the call of duties i have played show my NAT type as open. it didn't bother me much, until black ops 3 i... i keep getting d/c with an error saying that the connection to the PlayStation network was lost and gives no reason behind it, luckily it doesn't happen once a match is launched however the duration between the next match is more then enough for me to get d/c.

So my question is how can a game running on a PS4 with a nat type 2 show as nat type 1?

secondly i would want to know the ip address of the PSN servers to be able to check my lag/ping from my network to PSN's network?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance

p.s. if i have posted under a wrong section please excuse me, as anyone looking at my profile will be able to tell this is my first post Smiley Surprised
